Ivan is a senior executive with a deep background in finance, strategic planning, and operational growth. As an actuary, Ivan worked as an independent consultant for various firms, including The Boston Consulting Group, where he gained extensive knowledge in risk management and strategic planning for financial institutions. Later, he transitioned to working with startups and non-financial corporations, focusing on venture building and bootstrap management. This led him to play a key role in launching jur.io, a project providing a decentralised social operating system backed by Fenbushi Capital in Shanghai. Ivan holds a degree in economics, a dual master’s degree in finance and insurance, and a Ph.D. in actuarial science focusing on risk management and capital allocation. He has also served as an adjunct professor of financial mathematics at Sapienza University.
